Introduction to Graphic Design

  • Redesign a messy poster (paper sketch)

Shapes, Lines & Layout

Concepts:

  • Shapes & visual balance
  • Alignment & spacing

  • Create a simple layout using shapes
  • Poster wireframe (paper or digital)

Hour 3

Color Theory for Designers

Concepts:

  • Colour meanings
  • Contrast & harmony
  • Indian colour usage (festivals, brands) s


Activities:

  • Colour palette creation
  • Design a festival-themed poster

Hour 4

Typography for Kids

Concepts:

  • What are fonts?
  • Readability vs decoration
  • Font pairing basics


Activities:

  • Font matching game
  • Design a name poster

Introduction to Design Tools

Concepts:

  • Using Canva / digital tools
  • Text, shapes, images, icons


Hands-on:

  • Create a simple poster digitally
  • Resize & adjust elements

Images & Visual Storytelling

Concepts:

  • Images tell stories
  • Icons vs photos
  • Simple composition

  • Design a story poster

Logo & Icon Design Basics

Concepts:
